Westport Affordable Housing Rally

On Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 2:00 PM on Jesup Green in Westport, Westport’s Department of Human Services, The Westport Housing Authority, and Homes With Hope invites residents to join legislators, local providers and advocates in a call-to-action rally to address Fairfield County’s growing housing crisis in the aftermath of and ongoing concerns related to the pandemic.

Connecticut’s Plan for American Rescue Plan Act funding allocates no funding for the production and preservation of affordable housing and the legislature does not plan to approve or modify the allocation during this special session, despite deep and urgent housing needs in Fairfield County and across the state.
